Heritage at Risk

Historic England Assessment

Historic England have recently visited Hawton Church and made a full assessment of the fabric of the church.  They have recommended that the church should be formally graded as At Risk and have identified the need for repairs to prevent further deterioration. We have estimated that the work necessary to correct all these will amount to around £100,000.  Further details of the repairs needed will be added later.
